In view of the announcement by the Islamic Association of North America (ISNA) and other Masjids and Islamic Centers across Canada we are pleased to announce that the first day of Shawal and Eid Al-Fitr will be on Monday, May 3, 2022.
Eid prayer will be offered at 9 am (sharp) at the following location:
Crosslink County Sportsplex (Fieldhouse)
7407 – 108th Street
Clairmont, AB
T8X 5G9
There will be bouncy castle for small kids at the venue until 12 pm. Also, it’s a great idea to bring your own prayer mat to the venue. Please do not attend if you have COVID or flu like symptoms.
Remember to pay Zakat Al-Fitr before the Eid prayers. The recommended amount is $15 per person, including minors and children. You can drop off this amount in the dedicated boxes inside the masjid prayer hall. You can also pay using your debit/credit card or email transfer – just remember to provide a copy of the receipt to imam so that its is appropriately and timely paid out.
