In view of the announcement by the Islamic Association of North America (ISNA), Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA), Muslim Association of Canada (MAC), other Masjids and Islamic Centers in Alberta, as well as announcements across most Muslim countries, we are pleased to announce that the first day of Ramadan will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Isha Salah will be offered as per the schedule posted on Masjid website (https://masjedgp.ca) and salah schedule on “Athan” app. Taraweeh prayer will follow a few minutes after Isha salah.
We are still far short of our target for Iftar donations. Estimated contribution is $600/Iftar and you can contribute by paying in cash, cheque, debit-machine, e-transfer, or through website https://masjedgp.ca/donate/.
