Immigrant Survey

The city of Grande Prairie has asked us to request all community members to complete the following immigration survey. We’d appreciate it if you can take 15 minutes out of your routine and complete this survey. The following is the email request from the city:

All Grande Prairie immigrants age 16 years or older are invited to participatein a survey to share their experiences about living in our community to help improve the lives of newcomers, immigrants, and refugees in Grande Prairie.

Topics covered include demographic information, employment and income, use of community services, housing, sense of belonging, challenges and solutions, communication and more.

The survey is open until September 30 (extended until October 14) and is available in English, French, Filipino, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic, Ukrainian, and other languages when opened with the Google Chrome browser.

Participants who complete the survey can also enter a prize draw to win $500 towards gas and groceries. The survey can be completed online at https://bit.ly/SurveyLIP.

The Grande Prairie Local Immigration Partnership (GPLIP) is a collective impact initiative designed to:

Support newcomers and immigrants in feeling welcomed and integrated into the community.

Help local organizations work together efficiently to serve newcomers and immigrants.

Guide the development of strategies that make the community better for everyone, including immigrants and refugees.
